Gieves & Hawkes LC:M AW13
This bespoke evening jacket took inspiration from an archive Gieves & Hawkes military piece. Hand-sewn gold "Russia" binding went all the way around the jacket edge and formed a decorative pattern above the back vents.
The rich claret velvet was sourced from Italy and the jacket was made entirely by hand in the Gieves & Hawkes workrooms.
This outfit was photographed in the drawing room of Spencer House, where the first London Collections: Men Savile Row presentation took place in January 2013.
